The fundamental principle of VE-WE-GE Empowering Rural India is to support small cottage industry manufacturers, women leading women manufacturing projects and women-ledthe social uplifting projects. All this will lead to VE-WE-GE Empowering Rural India to support education of girls in rural India from age 5 to a masters degree or in the field outside formal education if that is what the individual student chooses.
All VE-WE-GE Empowering Rural India projects will be conducted under Vedic philosophy as opposed to profit-focused project. We are not going to operate as a charity. We will not take donations. Women Empowerment
VE-WE-GE Empowering Rural India support two women artisans groups in rural India to earn sustainable living for themselves and enable to support themselves and provide for their households. In many cases, they are the main breadwinners in the household.
Family Empowerment
VE-WE-GE Empowering Rural India provides sustainable living for 18 handcraf artisans families in Rural India. 3 families provide extremely high quality shawls and stoles. 15 families are earning their living by producing outstanding and beautifully designed copper bottles and copper pots with 98% copper contents giving the products numerical health benefits to people who drink water from them.
Supporting Abandoned Old People
After being thrown out of another ‘no cost’ old people’s home along with around ten other elderly people to make room for wealthier elderly people, sister Kaumudi turned tragedy into opportunity. Despite bring significantly disabled person who moves around on her knees and hands or with use of a push trolley, sister Kaumudi started a new old people’s home, giving hope to all that were thrown out of the other old people’s home or out of their own home by their children and children-in-laws.
Clean Drinking Water for Schools
At a school in the village of Datrana, VE-WE-GE Empowering Rural India provided safe drinking water facilities for children and teachers.
According to World Health Organization standards, the water was unsafe to drink previously.
The school asked us for industrial size water purification equipment so, not only students and teachers, but the entire village could access safe drinking water.
